WhatsApp:You Will Soon Be Able To Delete WhatsApp Messages For Up To 68 Minutes or 4096 seconds

WhatsApp has updated its 'Delete for Everyone' feature to let users delete sent messages within 4096 seconds or 68 minutes and 16 seconds, compared to the seven minutes deadline from before.

WhatsApp has updated its ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature to let users delete sent messages within 4096 seconds or 68 minutes and 16 seconds, compared to 420 seconds or seven minutes deadline earlier. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is currently live for WhatsApp Android beta version 2.18.69, with stable release for Android and iOS to follow soon. 

The new extended delete feature will apparently work with all types of messages, including texts, photos, videos and more.This feature is now available in the latest beta release of the app for Android, as yet there are no details on when this software will be released to everyone, as soon as we get some more details.The world’s most popular messenger wants to increase the cut off from seven minutes to 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds, according to reports.

WABetaInfo, which tracks the latest WhatsApp features across beta releases, spotted the change in the latest Android beta, version 2.18.69.That means that for the time being at least  only WhatsApp beta testers on Android can take advantage of the all new extended deadline for Delete for Everyone.WhatsApp is also testing a new ‘Group Description’ feature on the Android beta and Windows version of its app.
