Samsung announced their new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at their Mobile World Congress press conference yesterday.
The Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8 inch display with a QHD+ resolution and and 18:5:9 aspect ratio and 570 pixels per inch.The handset features either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor or a Samsung Exynos 9810 processor and 4GB of RAM, there is also a choice of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage plus a microSD card slot for expansion.
Samsung set the bar for flagship smartphones early in 2017 with its stunning Galaxy S8 and there's no doubt the South Korean tech powerhouse is looking to do the same in 2018.
The devices are powered by either the Samsung Exynos 9810 processor
or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The processors will vary by
region and the US will get the Snapdragon 845.The Galaxy S9 comes
with 4GB of RAM and a single 12 megapixel camera, the Galaxy S9 Plus
comes with 6GB of RAM and a dual 12 megapixel camera.
Samsung Galaxy S9 has been officially teased in several videos pointing to new camera abilities. We're also hearing that the phone could have an Animoji-like feature and two speakers. Plus, it's appeared in a benchmark and it might not cost as much as we'd previously heard.
